Van Deusen Gardens: Spring flowers will be abundant in this fabulous garden located in downtown Vancouver, B.C. Carpool from the Fair Market at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 15.
Leona Isaak: Leona is a member of the Abbotsford Photo Arts Club and is noted for her outstanding photos of horse and cattle roundups, as well as breathtaking shots of Yellowstone National Park. She conducts photo workshop tours several times each year.
Soft: The subject of June's photo competition is "Soft." Use your imagination on this one. How can you depict softness?
APAC: Borderline Camera Club will be the guest of Abbotsford Photo Arts Club at their meeting in Abbotsford, BC on Monday, June 21. Meet at the Fair Market at 5:30 pm to carpool to Abbotsford. Following dinner, APAC will present a slide show of their "Best of the Best."
Club Picnic: Don't miss our annual club picnic at Lake Padden. We'll start the barbeques about 5:30 p.m. With our sunsets at approximately 10:30 pm in July, we should have plenty of time to eat a great meal and relax at the lake with good company.
Purple: The subject of this month's photo challenge is always a favorite for photographs. Flowers are a joy to shoot, although they can definitely be a challenge.
Show and Tell: As summer turns to autumn and vacationers return home, we invite members to bring samples of your summer photo work to share with the club. No competition, no judging. However, you can ask for feedback from the group if you like.
Dick Balnicky: Dick is a member of the Mt. Baker Camera Club in Mt. Vernon. His signature work is moody mountain scenes shot at early morning and late evening, high in the mountains on his extended backpacking trips.
Humor: This subject should bring a smile to everyone's face. See what humor you can capture in our everyday lives.
