We moved into our new home on December 4, 1998.  This 1700 square foot home was built in 1950.  It features very nice woodwork, oil heat, fireplace, and baseboard.  Underground sprinklers are also included.  I will post a picture as soon as I can.

Dantte and I live in Moses Lake, Washington.  Moses Lake is located in the middle of Washington State.  About 175 miles to Seattle and 110 to Spokane.   I-90 and SR 17 are the main thru fares.

We chose to make our home here for now because I was offered a job at . I started working for Wilbur-Ellis in February 1991 and the left in June 1993 and came back in June 1996.  I also grew up in the Columbia Basin.  Having graduated from Warden High School in 1986 I was very familier with the area.  My mom and dad, John & Helen Preston, live in the Warden area as do my Grandparents, Harold & Rosaline Preston.  My grandparents are retired and travel to Northern California most of the year.  My dad still raises alfalfa hay, grain corn, and a few cattle.  My mom teaches kindergarten at Longview Elementary in Moses Lake.

The City of Moses Lake has their own police force and fire department.  Police coverage of the surronding area is provided by the dedicated deputies of the Grant County Sheriff's Office.  For a complete list of scanner frequencies for Grant County & Moses Lake look to my frequency page.

In July 1996 Danette applied for and accepted a job at .  They were planning a new store in Moses Lake.  If you're familier with this area you'll remember that Pizza Hut was here once before in 1976.  If fact this time they are located in the same building.  Danette has worked her was up from waitress to shift manager and then assistant manager.  She is currently a waitress again since she does love her family and doesn't like working until all hours of the night.

We used to live in South Eastern Oregon.  The little Town of Lakeview is located on US Hwy 395 - about 15 miles north of the California border.  For information of either Lake County or the Town of Lakeview, click on their names.  My mother and father in law still reside in Lakeview.  Gary Merrifield is probably the best carpet layer in the Pacific Northwest.  If you need carpet or linoleum installed call Gary at (541) 947-4431.  Linda Merrifield takes care of the house.  They are both avid bowlers.

Our Computer System
We purchased our computer system with a computer loan thru Wilbur-Ellis.  They allow up to $1500 to be used for a system.  The payments come out of your check every two weeks for two years.  The loan is interest free.  We looked a few places that sold computers, but we finally settled on Advanced Business Systems in Klamath Falls, Oregon.  Our system was a custom built one featuring:
